Board of Directors: Where Are They Now
Meet Ryan Behrndt, a 2017 Xavier graduate who majored in Finance and minored in International Business during his time on campus. Ryan is from St. Louis, MO and is currently a Trader 1- Retail Trading Representative at TD Ameritrade. Ryan's favorite memory while on the Board of Directors was being able to attend the Big East Tournament in New York City all four years while at Xavier, a time in his life he will never forget.
Meet Blake Quaiyoom, a 2015 Xavier graduate with degrees in Accounting and Finance. Blake currently works at KPMG as a Senior Tax Consultant. His favorite memory while being on the X-treme Fans Board of Directors was during the Inaugural trip to New York City for the Big East Tournament.
"We organized the first student trip to NYC as a board and we took 46 students by bus to the Big East Tournament. I got to spend four days with the best group of people I could imagine. From painting up and being front row at Madison Square Garden, to doing a service day with Father Graham, the weekend was amazing from start to finish. The X-treme Fans Board turned out to bring me some of my closest Xavier friends and some of my best Xavier memories. If you're a sports lover and enjoy working behind the scenes, X-treme Fans Board is the way to go."
Meet Leah Jenk, a 2017 Xavier graduate with degrees in Sport Management and Public Relations. Originally from Milwaukee, Leah now lives in Chicago where she works for the Big Ten Conference. Leah has no doubt that event planning and marketing on the X-Treme Fans board led her to her dream job today.
Leah's proudest college accomplishment is attending a Xavier basketball game at all ten Big East universities. She often reminisces on her trips to Jacksonville, St. Louis, and Orlando for the NCAA tournament as well. But Leah's favorite X-Treme Fans memory is bringing the camp out back to Xavier. There's no words to describe camping with 500 of your friends ready for a rivalry game and top-25 match up!
Meet Ryan Quilty, a 2018 Xavier graduate who majored in Sports Management and Public Relations while minoring in Business during his time on campus. Ryan is from the northern suburbs of Chicago and is currently in the Events Department of USA Football. Ryan's favorite memory while being on the Board of Directors was spending Spring Break in New York City cheering on the Musketeers while his friends and fellow classmates.
Meet Thomas L. Edney, a 2015 Xavier graduate who majored in Finance and Marketing during his time on campus. Thomas is currently a Licensed Agent for Steffey Hatoway Insurance based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Thomas's favorite memory while at Xavier took place during his senior year when Xavier went to the BIG EAST championship game at Madison Square Garden. "Running out of Madison Square Garden with 98 students hyped up about the win was a lifelong memory."
Meet Liz Parillo, a 2019 grad, Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Liz moved to New York City following graduation to be close to Madison Square Garden and the Big East Tournament. While on the East Coast, Liz will also be attending Xavier games at St. John’s, Seton Hall, Providence, and UCONN as an alum to keep the Xavier fan base strong on the road. Liz’s favorite memories on X-treme Fans include going to the Elite 8, frisbee dogs during halftime, and the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons!
Meet Sydney Schubert, a 2016 Xavier graduate who majored in Finance and International Business during her time on campus. Sydney currently resides in Chicago, IL, where she holds a position in Commercial Banking with Fifth Third Bank Chicago.
Her favorite Xavier memory was when the #5 Musketeers took down the #1 ranked Villanova Wildcats in the Cintas Center in February 2016. "Managing the Snapchat story for the game was the coolest thing ever!"
Meet Austin Shoda, a 2017 Xavier graduate who has a degree in Sport Management. Since graduation, Austin traded in sports as he joined the team at Cengage in the education technology industry. Austin’s fondest memory with X-Treme Fans was the #5 Musketeers knocking of the #1, and eventual national champion, Villanova Wildcats.
